Photometric Detectors - a set of highly stable, precision photometric sensors!

General Description

The IPR-PDET series photometric detectors are built by using selected, stability tested high-grade Si-photovoltaic cells. They are all equipped with individually produced and matched color glass filters. They are available in different sizes for illuminance and luminous flux measurement, both in temperature stabilized laboratory and general purpose form.

For a photometric detector the most important quality criterion is its spectral match to the CIE V(λ) function. To describe this the error f1' function has been introduced, characterizing the mean deviation of the spectral match weighted with the CIE Standard Illuminant "A" spectral power distribution, (see CIE Publ. 53 and 69).

IPR-PDET photometric detectors conform to these and other CIE specifications and are available in two f1' error classes (these are in agreement with the German DIN 5032/Teil 7 classification).

Laboratory type with f1' = 1.5%,

Class A with f1' = 3%.

Every IPR-PDET type detector is individually calibrated and the measured f1' error value is stated in the Calibration Certificate.
